Rockt. Mehr bleibt nicht zu sagen *g*

Spiegel ist für mich morgens ganz nett zum Kaffee zu genießen und dieses Mal muss ich sagen, dass dieses Video ja dermaßen die Wahrheit sagt. Da stellen sich Leute vor eine Kamera und erzählen bzw. zeigen Zeug und denken sich nix dabei. Aber in echt würden sie das nie in der Öffentlichkeit machen.
Also: Aufpassen und vielleicht etwas mehr zurückhalten.

Diese Woche war ich mit Dirk am Dienstag im O25 in Frankfurt um uns Grossstadtgeflüster anzusehen und vor allem anzuhören!
So bekannt sind die zugegebenermaßen noch nicht. NOCH nicht Laut Wikipedia ist der Musikstil als Elektropop zu bezeichnen. Joar, haut schon hin würde ich sagen. Aber manchmal ist die Musik auch eher rockig. Ach ich würde sagen: Schaut mal auf die Grossstadtgeflüster-Präsenz bei MySpace. Da kann man sich geschickterweise auch Beispiele anhören. Am 30. Mai kommt das neue Album Bis einer heult! raus, nach dem Konzert konnte man das jedoch schon kaufen. Natürlich gleich mitgenommen
Ein paar Bilder konnte ich auch machen, doch wegen der Handykamera wurden die nicht sooo toll. Dennoch möchte ich sie euch nicht vorenthalten.

Es gab dort auch jemanden, der ein kurzes Video gemacht hat. Wie es der Zufall will, konnte ich das eben bei youtube finden.

Da mein Bild mit der Band ja so eine schlechte Qualität hat, bin ich froh, bald eine zweite Chance auf eine gute Aufnahme zu bekommen. Am 31. Mai sind Grossstadtgeflüster in Karlsruhe bei der Kulturwoche des AKK in Karlsruhe. Samstag Abend 22:10 und sogar kostenlos! Wer also aus der Gegend kommt und Bock auf richtig Party hat, der kann gerne kommen! Meine Fresse war ich verschwitzt nach dem Konzert in Frankfurt *g* Evtl. findet ja auch der eine oder andere Geschmack daran.

Today I had the pleasure to play the Penny Arcade Adventure On the Rain-Slick: Precipice of Darkness.
I got through it in about 6 hours (with half an hour break) what is of course quite fast but there will be more episodes of the game.
I guess some of you already know Penny Arcade from the webcomic which focuses mainly on video games, the video game industry, and gamer sub-culture.
“The strip regularly features the two authors’ cartoon alter egos, Tycho Brahe and Jonathan Gabriel (”Gabe”), who represent Holkins and Krahulik respectively. Holkins and Krahulik have explained that the characters were not originally meant to represent them, thus they are not caricatures. The two characters spend much of their time playing and commenting on computer and video games, forming the basis of the humor in the strip. Another theme, albeit less common, is the use of conflicts between the two in real life. The strip also sometimes refers to other Internet subcultures, and often features in-jokes that are explained by the news posts accompanying each comic, usually written by Holkins.”
So after 10 years of doing comics the guys presented their first game. As I already mentioned It will be in episodes (dunno how many) and you have to pay $19,95 for Windows, Mac or Linux version. I am totally glad that a game is sold from the first day on as linux-version! Usually you have to use wine or wait until somebody adapts it. So I hope that the next episodes will be released for linux as well.
The character of the game is a bit gloomy but nevertheless funny. It’s quite difficult to describe. Also there are comic-passages but the game itself is a 3D-rpg. The principle itself is not really innovative but the story is so damn funny. Things appear you’d never thought of (no I will not spoil details). By the way… I guess I should mention that famous Ron Gilbert took part creating the Penny Arcade game. And yes: You should know him. *g*

Am Freitag habe ich irgendwo noch ein Bild davon gesehen und dachte “ah, Fake. Das stellt doch keiner her!”…
Samstag war ich im Edeka und mir fielen fast die Augen aus. Ich sah Folgendes: Der Geruch ist leicht würzig nach Bier - aber auch nur wenn man weiß, dass es Biergeschmack sein soll. Der Geschmack - naja. Mein Fall ist es nicht. Herb schmecken sie meiner Meinung nach. Hier finden sich 3 Facts zu den Chips. Einer davon “Schmecken nicht wirklich stark nach Bier. Dezent bierig, salzig, lecker!” Bis auf “lecker” stimme ich zu. Der Popkulturjunkie und Nerdcore wundern sich z.B. ebenfalls über die neue Kreation.
Crunchips wird von der Firma Lorenz hergestellt. Auf deren Internetpräsenz fand ich seltsamerweise gar nichts über die Sorte Bier. Merkwürdig.
